Blackpool Zoo - East Park Drive, Blackpool - "Blackpool Zoo has a diverse range of species, having over 1000 animals in our care including Asian elephants, gorillas, orangutans, lions, tigers, penguins, giraffes and sea lions to name a few." - "Blackpool Zoo is fully accessible, so all visitors can view our animals and exhibits. The site is flat. The sensory map details areas with uneven ground. Some of our animal houses do have upper-level viewing areas, but these are all accessible by ramps." Facilities include a Changing Places Toilet.

Brockholes Nature Reserve (Lancashire Wildlife Trust) - Samlesbury, Preston - floating Visitor Village with restaurant and shops, interactive Welcome Centre, one of the best sites in the UK for many species of bird and has one of the largest strips of ancient woodland in the county - Adapted toilets at the Visitor Village, footpaths at Brockholes are level and surfaced, kissing gates are accessible for smaller wheelchairs and pushchairs and are shown on the Trail Access Guide (large mobility vehicle or pushchair you can obtain a key to the vehicle access gates
