Jungle Experience at Manor Heath Park - a tropical oasis with fish, quail, terrapin and butterflies and plants from all over the world - Jungle Experience has been designed to provide disabled and wheelchair access
Home Farm at Temple Newsam - Leeds - come face-to-face with hundreds of child friendly farm animals, including pigs, sheep, goats, cattle and ducks, traditional crafts, activities and demonstrations, recreated workshops, one of the largest rare breed centres in Europe - The first floor display areas of Home Farm are not accessible but interpretation is displayed on the ground floor. If you are using push wheelchairs, you might struggle on some of the gravel/cobbled areas, particularly in Home Farm and the Stables courtyard.There is a fully accessible playground next to Home Farm
Ponderosa Rural Therapeutic Centre, Heckmondwike - large selection of rare breed animals, + cattle and livestock, reptiles, birds, fish, a reptile room, zip wire slide, a beach, sandpits, outdoor play areas, indoor soft play, ice cream parlour, lakeside restaurant, gift shop, picnic areas - "fully wheelchair accessible" disabled toilets and baby changing facilities, "walkways around the farm suitable for wheelchair and pushchair access"
Roundhay Park & Tropical World - 700 acres - Green Flag Park - gardens, lakes, woodlands, rolling parkland, a castle folly, Land train, Skate park, cafe - Mobility scooters are available from Tropical World, most of the paths at Roundhay are accessible for wheelchairs
SMJ Falconry - Oxenhope - (visitors by appointment) - offer one to one experience days, Hawk walks, Owl encounters, Static and flying displays, Photography workshops etc - Unfortunately we have no accessibility information for this site -
