The Bradford Millennium Way - 45 miles - circular walk in the countryside that surrounds the City of Bradford


The Calderdale Way - 50 miles - The walk encircles Halifax, Hebden Bridge and Todmorden, following old packhorse ways


The Dales Way Link - 135 km footpath that connects Leeds to Ilkley


The Ebor Way - 112 km route between the North Yorks Moors (Helmsley) and Ilkley


The Hebden Bridge Loop on the Pennine Way - a waymarked route to Hebden Bridge and back to the Pennine Way via the ancient village of Heptonstall -


The Leeds Country Way - 62 miles - footpath around Leeds through some of the countryside surrounding the city - The route is split into four main stages, each of which has an accompanying leaflet - (1) Golden Acre Park to Barwick-in-Elmet; (2) Barwick-in-Elmet to Carlton; (3) Carlton to Cockersdale; (4) Cockersdale to Golden Acre Park.


The Six Dales Trail - 38 miles - between Otley abd Middleham - crosses the six dales - Wharfedale, Washburndale, Nidderdale, Colsterdale, Coverdale and Wensleydale - the trail varies from quiet steep pastures to high heather moorland, from stretches alongside fast-flowing rivers to stretches through the parkland surrounding the ruins of Jervaulx Abbey.


The Stanza Stones Poetry Trail - between Marsden and Ilkley - 47 miles (3 days) / short family walks - The Trail features six poems by Simon Armitage, carved by Pip Hall into six locations do as full day walks or short family outing -


The Chevin Forest has a number of short trails including - see the Heritage Time Trail - 2km - circular route starting from Lower Shawfield car park and along Chippendale Ride - 8 timber sculptures created by a local artist that represent a different time period in The Chevin’s history - It has a fairly good surface suitable for mobility scooters and only has two steeply sloping sections -
