Bowland-Dales Traverse - 95 miles, across the Forest of Bowland in Lancashire and the Yorkshire Dales

 

Dales Way - 80 miles, between Ilkley and Bowness-in-Windermere, much of the route follows riverside paths

 

Dales High Way - 90 miles, between Saltaire (World Heritage Site) and Appleby-in-Westmorland

 

Herriot Way - 52 miles, circular walk, Wensleydale and Swaledale

 

Lady Anne's Way - 100 miles between Skipton and Penrith

 

Moor to Sea Trail - 80 miles, cycle trail between

 

Nidderdale Way - 53 miles - circular walk from Pateley Bridge via Scar House Reservoir and along the River Nidd with highlights including Brimham Rocks, How Stean Gorge and Yorke’s Folly

 

Pennine Way - 270 miles, runs from the Peak District National Park in Derbyshire along the Pennines, through the Yorkshire Dales, into Northumberland, across the Cheviots, and into the Scottish Borders

 

Pennine Bridleway - 350 miles, a route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders, using ancient packhorse routes, drovers roads and newer bridleways

 

Ribble Way - 70 miles - follows the river and its valley from the source to sea

 

Swale Way - 77 miles, follows the River Swale in North Yorkshire from the River Ure nr Boroughbridge to its source at the head of Swaledale

 

Trans Pennine Trail - 215 miles, route between Southport and Hornsea for walkers, cyclists and horse riders

 

Way of the Roses - 170 miles, between Morecambe on Lancashire's coast and Bridlington on the Yorkshire coast.

 

Yorkshire Dales Inn Way - circular 76 mile walk starting Grassington

 

Six Dales Trail - 38 miles - through the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
