Adventure Island - Southend on Sea - beachfront theme park with rides, indoor play facility, restaurants, cafes, amusement arcades, shops - wheelchair access, accessible toilets, restrictions on some rides please see their website


Barleylands Farm Park and Craft Village -Animals, discovery centre, over 50 craft studios - Bilericay - Disabled friendly / facilities - MG1a - "Suitable for an unaccompanied wheelchair user. A full range of facilities can be used without assistance" please see website


Carter's Vineyards - 40 acre site, 7 acres of vines, walks, woodland, meadows, wine tasting - Unfortunately we have no accessibility information for this site


Childsplay Adventureland - indoor play centre for under 11's - Colchester - Unfortunately we have no accessibility information for this site


Clacton Pier - Six acres of fun, amusements, stalls etc. - We understand that the pier is accessible with level access from the promenade, much is wooden boarded, some of the doors from the amusement arcade on to the pier are automatic. We have no information about disabled facilities. Though there is a Changing Places facility just along the promenade (towards the Martllo Tower) changing-places-icon


Coln Valley Railway - Heritage Steam and Diesel Railway, one mile of line, buildings, miniature and model railways - Castle Hedingham - Disabled accesss but some restrictions - please see the website


Combined Military Services Museum - Maldon - "British military history beginning on brutal medieval battlefields, through the Crimean & Napoleonic Wars, into WW1 & WW2, right up to today’s conflicts" with Europe’s largest public displays of firearms, plus uniforms, tanks, swords, armour - Full wheelchair access, lift, accessible toilet


Curve Wake Park - St Osyth - Wakeboarding, Stand Up Paddleboarding, Kayaking, Swimming, Ringo Rides, and our Aqua Park the inflatable obstacle course. Offering tuition for beginners though to pro level in a full range of sports - Lake side cafe and shop – Unfortunately we have no accessibility information for this site


East Anglian Railway Museum - Victorian buildings, train rides, heritage centre etc. - Colchester - Disabled access but some restrictions - please see the website


Epping Ongar Railway - runs 6.5 miles Ongar to North Weald and Epping Forest - Disabled accesss / facilities, but some restrictions - please see the website


Kelvedon Hatch Secret Nuclear Bunker - Three storey ex-government regional HQ - Brentwood - Unfortunately we have no accessibility information for this site


Lee Valley Farm Parks - animals, tractor rides, soft play area - Waltham Abbey - Unfortunately we have no accessibility information for this site


Marsh Farm - Farm trail, animals, milking demonstrations - Woodham Ferrers - "Wheelchair users are able to enjoy the entirety of the farm, indoor and outdoor activities as well as the Tractor and Trailer Ride however will need to disembark wheelchair in order to board Trailer as there is no ramp available" accessible toilets including a "Changing Places" accessible toilet changing-places-icon


New Hall Vineyards - 200 acre vineyard, farm trail, vineyard walk, tastings - Maldon - Unfortunately we have no accessibility information for this site

Royal Opera House Production Park - Purfleet - "Discover the fascinating world of the craftspeople who create stunning costumes, scenery and sets for the Royal Opera House on a tour of the Bob and Tamar Manoukian Production Workshop and Costume Centre" - The tour route is fully accessible to wheelchair users.
